Introduction

The transition of universities is one of the difficult system which can affect the process of  student learning in wide manner. In schools the teacher works as to provide support during this period, but in colleges the student need to be their won personal tutor to seal with transition of one university to another. Thus, it can be said the transition will promote various changes as are cultural diversities, teaching attitude of teachers etc. this can affect the growth and development  of international student (Amaral and et.al., 2018). At this process the student has to face several kinds of familiar and challenging experience. Thus, it can be said that the transition in universities can have wide impact on metal health of student in the initial level. The present report will focus over the effect on student learning due to transition. The report will be conducted with the help of secondary research to have depth information. The main purpose of study is outline and definitions of terms are provided and to determine the significance of the study is also discussed.

Rational behind the study

The present assignment is need to be undertaken due to several reasons. The transition in universities is high impacting the mental health of students. This problem can occur many issues as are physical, emotional, economical and interpersonal functioning. However, in order to cope up with issues it is important to potentially trigger metal health problem after having transition in universities by student. In this the major term is to understand the concept in relation to exploring students’ conceptualization of thriving, and to develop a substantive theory of transition and thriving for Western University students (Dexter and et.al., 2018). Thus, it can be said that the transition in universities can have wide impact on metal health of student in the initial level. The present report will focus over the effect on student learning due to transition.

Aim- To have identification of impact as per transition to universities affect international student in their study. A case study on universities of UK.

Description on various research methodologies

There are various research philosophies which is defined in following manner as are-

Research philosophies- This is one of the approach which is essential in relation to conduct and collect the data in the effectively. Under this there are two varieties of method to collect the information as are interpretivism and positivism. For the present assignment it is essential to follow the interpretitive. It is related to the human subject and theory. Thus, it can be said that Interpretive theory relates to humanistic qualitative methods. In addition to this the positivist relates to the scientific qualitative method (Amaral and et.al., 2018).

Research approach- This is helpful in order to designing the approach of research in the effective manner. This is helpful in order to achieve and determine the tools in which the process of research can be undertaken.  There are two kinds of research approaches as are inductive and deductive (Dexter and et.al., 2018). Thus, it can be said that Deductive approach is in relation to testing of theory.  The Inductive approach is related to generation of theory which is based on one specific data. In addition to this is need to be taken in effectively manner so that transition in universities can understand in effective mode.

Research design- In this there is need to design Aims and purpose of the assignment effectively. This is one of the effective approach in order to maintaining of reliable, ethical and those techniques with the aim of which the purpose of assignment can be full-filled. The research design as are experimental and interpretative etc.

Research Technique- This is the process which is related to collect the wide information about the transition of universities. Under this there are two kinds of techniques as are qualitative and  quantitative. In this the qualitative techniques will be useful in relation to determine the depth information about by conduct proper research. Under this it can be stated that qualitative methods will be useful in relation to exploring and describing the experiences of college students, especially when little is known about the topic of interest.

Data collection- in this information is need to be conducted effectively. There are two kind s of method in data collection as are primary and secondary. Thus, to accomplish the objective of present assignment it is essential to undertake secondary method. With the help of which depth information can be gathered. The present report will focus over the effect on student learning due to transition by undertaking the method of secondary data.

Data sampling- There are two kinds of methods as are probabilistic and non-probablistc.  The probabilistic method is related to the size of population and non probabilistic method is not cover in relation to it.

There is also emotional feeling attached due to separation of child to their parents. In this they need to face various kind of trouble as are arranging food for themselves, placed things in systematic manner, this type of things will motivate them to do things form them in expertise manner and student becomes matured and strong. At this stage it is essential to give up some parental control. In addition to this, Beach, Lucking and Terrones, (2018) states that parents should arrange necessary services for their child with effective learning activities in relation to learning disability, mental illness or physical condition should be done preventive. According to Amaral and et.al., (2018) states that College staffs need to take various initiatives in relation to provide specially training services to work with students of this age and these specialists should be identified prior to arrival. This is the age where student has to face various challenges and it is useful to have discussion on specific issues, since college students are usually confront with situations as are to get involving in sex, drugs and alcohol, as well as tough academic and interpersonal issues. In this manner it is the responsibility of parents and teacher to take steps in regard to it but without moralizing or criticizing, even young adults can also get the benefit from hearing their parents' views on these issues. In order to have positive impact of transition the student need to Explore new interests, discover new place, and meet new people. This will be helpful to have effective learning of new things. Thus, it can true to state that With respect to academics, students today are facing increasing pressure to know what they want to do in their career, with the help of selecting one suitable career path and plan for their futures they can make it brighter. This kind of pressure is causing unfortunate substance abuse; anxiety and even depression in order to cope with this student are getting involved in activities as are sex, drugs and alcohol, as well as tough academic and interpersonal issues.
