The French Revolution
No history books in the world are devoid of this event. It began in 1789 through a feud between the monarchs and public. A tussle that continued for ten long years and experienced some of the iconic incidents like storming of Bastille, establishment of Constitution, etc. This event in particular, paved the way more such revolutions that ended the menace of slavery, anarchy, and royalty.
Demolition of the Berlin Wall
Just when the second world war ended, people got rid of Hitler, the man responsible behind one of the biggest destruction drives in the world. But it gave rise to a dispute regarding the hold of German land. The nation got divided into two halves namely democratic and communist. To segregate both the sections, a wall was built in middle of Berlin city as a symbol of division. In the year 1989, a great protest took place and millions of people rushed to the wall and brought it down. This event marked the ending of communism and paved the way for democracy.
The End of Roman Empire
This refers to the period of particularly two centuries which was most disturbing in the European history. Roman empire was considered as the most powerful establishment to have ever lived. It had the best warriors, crusaders, capitalists, artillery, etc., that could easily impose dominance over any opponent. But it got poisoned by arrogance, alcohol, betrayal, and colonialism that led to its downfall. The Roman empire is solely responsible for gifting the art of civilization to the whole world.
Terrorist Attack on the World Trade Center
No one in the world could ever forget the terrifying images of the terrorist attack on the twin tower building in New York City. A bigger than ever attack that not only shook the United States but also generated a shock wave in the entire World. On September 9 2001, it was a bright sunny day in New York when out of nowhere two planes came in and crashed into the Northern and Southern towers of the famous complex. The dreadful attack is still the most dangerous terrorist event in the history.
