Overview

Motivation is considered as one of the most critical aspects for every business organization (Daft,2009). It was one of the crucial issues for retail industry of Ghana and so, it is considered by this researcher for investigation.

It has been noticed that motivation is referred as one of the most significant aspects for every business firm (Desten,2008). Any kind of changes in such aspects also influence the overall outcomes of study in the desired manner. Present investigation’s key problem is to identify motivational issues so that overall organizational performance can be advanced. It is an issue because, according(Desten,2008) most of the firms do not use appropriate strategy to improve the motivational level of employees. They focus on profitability and cost rather than employee’s job satisfaction. So, motivation level of employees is declined. It has negative impact on future growth and development of the organization which will have harmful influence on the whole retail industry. Such kind of elements advance the justification behind selection of present investigation’s subject. Along with this, another key factor that forces to select the current subject is gap present in previous studies.

It means by analysing the aspects better outcome can be attained in respect to investigation. In Ghana there are number of key issues which need to be refereed effectively from the managers. Businesses are not having stable practice due to external values so current study values need to be considered effectively.

Chapter 1: Introduction

In addition to this, it can be stated that introduction chapter provides a framework with regard to research study. By having an proper description about research subject, better support will be offered to the study. It has been noticed that description of topic will provide a detailed information about the purpose of research.
